Audit Disclaimer
Disclaimer
The audit is advisory. This page states plainly what it is not, because the boundary matters more to a regulated firm than any claim we could make about what it is.
Effective 16 August 2026
1. Advisory only
The Executive AI Readiness Audit is an advisory engineering engagement. It produces analysis, documentation, and a recommendation. It does not implement, configure, deploy, or operate any system, and it does not make decisions on behalf of the client. All decisions arising from the audit remain the client's.
2. Not professional advice
Nothing on this website, and nothing contained in an audit report or delivered in the course of an engagement, constitutes legal, regulatory, compliance, tax, accounting, financial, investment, or medical advice.
BeyondX LLC is not a law firm, is not an accounting firm, and does not employ personnel acting in those capacities in connection with this service. Our observations about how a rule or obligation might bear on a technical design are engineering context, not advice, and must not be relied on as advice.
Firms in regulated professions should obtain advice from their own qualified professional advisers, and from their bar association, licensing body, or regulator as applicable, before acting on anything in an audit report. Nothing in an audit report relieves a firm of its own professional, ethical, or supervisory obligations.
3. Security assessment, not compliance opinion
Where an audit includes security-related observations, those observations are an engineering assessment. They are not a compliance audit, a compliance opinion, a certification, an attestation, a gap assessment against a named standard, a penetration test, or a vulnerability assessment, and they must not be presented to a regulator, insurer, client, or counterparty as any of those things.
An engineering assessment describes what we observed about how systems are architected and how data moves, and identifies engineering risks. It does not determine whether the client complies with any law, regulation, standard, framework, contractual obligation, or professional rule. That determination requires a qualified professional and, in most cases, a formal assessment we do not perform.
4. No certifications claimed
BeyondX LLC makes no claim to hold HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, or any other certification, attestation, accreditation, or registration, and does not claim that any system it designs or assesses is certified, compliant, or approved under any such framework. Any statement appearing to the contrary, wherever it appears, is incorrect and is superseded by this paragraph.
5. Healthcare not accepted
Healthcare engagements are not currently being accepted. We do not accept, process, or assess protected health information, and we make no representation that our services, systems, or personnel are suitable for use with it. We do not act as a business associate.
6. Payback figures are projections
The payback analysis is a forward-looking projection constructed from time, volume, and cost figures supplied by the client. It is an estimate produced under stated assumptions, not a forecast, a guarantee, or a representation that any result will be achieved.
Actual outcomes depend on factors outside our control, including implementation quality, staff adoption, data quality, vendor behaviour, market conditions, and changes to the client's own operations. We publish no ROI figures, no benchmark returns, and no performance claims anywhere on this site, and none should be inferred.
7a. What the word "audit" means here
"Audit" on this site names a structured technical review of workflows and systems. It does not mean a financial statement audit, a statutory audit, an independent attestation, or an examination conducted under the standards of the accounting profession. BeyondX is not a CPA firm, holds no public accounting licence, and issues no audit opinion, attestation, or certification. If you need an engagement that carries any of those meanings, we are not the right provider and will say so.
7. Findings depend on client inputs
The audit is built on information the client provides and on artifacts the client shows us within a two-week engagement using approximately four hours of client time. It is not an exhaustive examination of the client's operations, systems, records, or controls.
Where information is incomplete, inaccurate, or not disclosed, the findings will reflect that. We do not independently verify or audit the information supplied, in the sense in which "audit" is used by the accounting profession. "Audit" as used on this site means a structured technical review, not a financial or statutory audit.
8. AI-assisted work
AI tools may be used in producing analysis and documentation, under the constraints set out in our AI usage disclosure. AI-assisted output is reviewed by a person before delivery. AI systems can produce inaccurate output, and human review reduces but does not eliminate that risk.
9. Third parties and external links
References to third-party products, services, or vendors are descriptive. We do not endorse them, receive no commission, referral fee, or other consideration for naming them, and hold no reseller or partner arrangement that would influence a recommendation. If that ever changes, it will be disclosed before it affects any engagement.
This site links to one external destination: our scheduling page. We are not responsible for the content or practices of any external site.
10. No professional relationship formed
Reading this website, emailing us, or attending a free scoping call does not create a consulting, advisory, fiduciary, or other professional relationship. A relationship arises only on execution of a written engagement agreement.
Do not send confidential or privileged information in an initial email. Wait until an engagement agreement is in place, or ask us how to transmit it appropriately.
